Twitter Unveils New Rules to Prevent Election Interference

Twitter this week announced changes to its policies aimed to protect election integrity and prevent interference.

In the updated set of rules, Twitter clarified that would constitute a violation which can get an account suspended. The company said that spreading hacked content containing private information that could be harmful to users, as well as “doxing”, is prohibited.

Accounts that use stock, or stolen avatars and fake bios, and those created solely to mimic or circumvent previous policy violations will also be removed.
